    Fossil Finders

    Monday 5 September 2011 to Friday 20 July 2012

    KS1 - Science

Find out how fossils are formed and investigate a variety of evidence to discover the creatures that left these fossil clues behind using drama and the Museum collections. Your pupils will explore how prehistoric creatures go from swimming in the sea to being discovered on our shores as fossils millions of years later. Pupils will also be given a brief introduction to dinosaurs and how camouflage was important to their survival.

The workshop can be complemented with a visit to the fantastic Fossil Stories gallery and encounter a life-size T-rex skeleton.
