The challenge of the day is for the children to create and present an exciting new indoor game based on a Roman theme. In the morning the children take part in the museum’s own game: Gladiators! After a series of rounds played with figures in model arenas, a final play-off leads to a winning Champion Gladiator. In teams, the children explore the Roman Gallery for research and planning. In the afternoon, the games are designed and made. Each team then presents their game and explains how to play.

A maximum of 30 students can participate in this day long workshop.
