The museum sits within the old Swan Hunter canteen building and is the perfect location to explore the local skills and achievements of the people of Wallsend. Children will take on the characters of trainee shipbuilders and run tests and experiments inspired by the Swan Hunter shipyard, the River Tyne and the collection of ship models in the museum.
This 2 hour workshop can accomodate up to 32 children.
