Wartime Station - Journeys into the Past

KS2 - History, Local studies
Come and learn about Wearside’s wartime past. The class will learn why Wearside was targeted by German bombers, hear some anecdotes from wartime evacuees and see how the introduction of rationing affected dinner time! The class will then investigate which wartime traveller left their luggage in our station! The class will also be able to climb aboard our restored 1939 wagon in the Sidings area.
