Segedunum Roman Fort can be hired for a range of events - from a venue for a Roman themed event to a training session, Segedunum provides an unusual and authentic venue in North Tyneside.

Meetings, Training Courses and Seminars

Segedunum houses an attractive self-contained function suite, with modern facilities and easy access to the Fort, Bath House and Museum. The Daniels Room is a flexible space, popular for training sessions and workshops. The Corder Room is ideal for board meetings, interviews or away days, and has the advantage of some remarkable views of the Fort and River Tyne.

Evening Functions and Wedding Receptions

Segedunum provides a unique venue for evening functions, receptions and private parties and even wedding receptions! Guided tours and lectures can be arranged on request. The viewing tower can be hired for smaller evening bookings, providing spectacular views across the River Tyne.

Segedunum also contains a remarkable reconstructed Bath House, superbly decorated with authentic Roman designs - it is the only working Roman bath house in Europe. It can be hired in conjunction with the visitor centre, as either as a reception area or a location for speeches and presentations.
