The Segedunum & Stephenson Half Term Family Festival
10:00am - 3:00pm
Join in with our free range of activities on offer at both Segedunum Roman Fort, Baths & Museum and Stephenson Railway Museum, including drop-in crafts, treasure trails and entertainment for all the family to take part in.
Visitors will be able to take part in a Roman coin trail, Roman jewellery making workshops, a demonstration in making Roman Pottery and there will also be the chance to watch Roman hairdressing demonstrations.
You can also discover what life was like on Hadrian’s Wall, with fascinating displays combining historical artefacts unearthed at the fort with exciting computer interactives.
This event is organised in partnership with Kenton School and The Regional Renaissance Learning Team.
