How to get to the Shipley Art Gallery

By Public Transport
The Shipley Art Gallery is a twenty minute walk from Gateshead interchange for Metro and bus services and is on several bus routes.

By Car
The Shipley is off the main A167 road into Newcastle and there is limited, free street parking outside the Gallery.

The Shipley Art Gallery has the following facilities for visitors:

• Access for wheelchair users via ramp
• Accessible toilets
• Male and female toilet facilities
• Assistance available if required
• Assistance and Guide dogs admitted
• Baby changing facilities
• Gift shop
• Lounge area with coffee machine - this is open to all visitors but will occasionally be required for other purposes. 
• Small play area for young children
