Shipley Lates is back and better than ever!
Shipley Lates offer an exciting after hours experience at the North East’s leading gallery of design and contemporary craft. On the last Friday of the month (we’re giving you a summer break in August!), join us at the Shipley Art Gallery, Gateshead for a series of free themed events aimed at kick-starting your weekend with a fix of culture.
Each evening will include performances, exhibitions, artist talks and there’s even a bar! There’s no need to worry about how to get here or get home - a free bus service will be running once an hour to help you really unwind and have fun.
Whether you come to Shipley Lates pre-club, post-dinner or for the whole evening, you’ll find something to inspire and excite you.
There will be a free open top bus service running hourly from Newcastle city centre, through Gateshead and on to the Shipley, allowing you to start and end your evening in style.
