Enjoy an afternoon of music by Woodwind students from Gateshead Schools' Music Service and Whickham School’s flute choir. The students will play music by Poulenc, Bach, Chopin and Taffanel.
This is the third in the series of free lunchtime concerts by Gateshead Schools' Music Service. Gateshead Schools’ Music Service is a team of dedicated and highly-qualified musicians who support music education in schools across Gateshead. Each lunchtime concert in this series features a different programme of talented musicians and ensembles that have been taught by the team.
The final concert in the series will take place on Friday 24 February. Laura Armstrong, a talented young cellist from Gateshead will perform a recital that includes Bruch and Chopin.
