The exhibition was conceived and created by Tyne and Wear Museums' staff
The exhibition explores the many ways in which shoes reflect, and even shape, our identities. Based on Tyne and Wear Museums' extensive and varied collections, it also includes generous loans from several lenders, including Northampton Museum & Art Gallery, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and legendary shoe designer Manolo Blahnik.
