South Shields Museum & Art Gallery

There are many opportunities to get involved with the Museum through talks, classes, activities, displays, volunteering and Friends' groups.

The Museum holds a regular series of lunchtime talks. For a full list of talks visit our What's On section. Speakers include local historians, Tyne & Wear Museums' staff and other experts from a range of fields. Admission is free and there is no need to book a place.
