There will also be passenger train rides available on Sunday 14 and Sunday 21 February, hauled by a heritage diesel engine. Timetable to be announced.

The nearest Metro station is Percy Main which is one and a half miles away from the museum. If travelling from Percy Main, please take the number R19 bus. If travelling from Wallsend, please take the number 337 bus.

The museum is well signposted from the A19/A1058 junction and is behind the Silverlink Retail Park, adjacent to the Blyth & Tyne cycle route.
