Worlds Alive gets a facelift

The popular Worlds Alive gallery at Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens will be getting a facelift in the new year.

Plans are being made to give the gallery a spruce up by updating some of the exhibits and making a few new additions.

Worlds Alive explores the huge variety of life that exists on the planet. Visitors can explore the themes of diversity, adaptationand extinction and see animals at home in a range of recreated habitats. Live insects, spiders, amphibians and fish are all part of the display.
