Anglo Saxon Family Fun Day
To celebrate the Festival of British Archaeology families can discover more about Anglo-Saxon monastic life in 7th century Sunderland.
Piece together the evidence found in this fun session, and learn about the different parts of a monks life; what would they eat? Where would they live? How many calves would it take to make a book?
You can even add your own initials to our big book of Anglo-Saxon writing.
In the learning rooms.
11am – 12.30pm & 1.30pm – 3pm
Free just drop in.
