A magnificent Victorian steam engine, engine house and headgear are preserved as a monument to Washington's coalmining heritage that reaches back over 250 years. Open: Saturday 12 September 2009 (11am -1.30pm & 2pm - 5pm) Sunday 13 September 2009 (2pm - 5pm) Free entry.
