Christmas Appeal 2021 Pledges

For our 2021 Christmas Appeal Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums is raising £10,000 to provide five schools in economically deprived areas of Gateshead and isolated rural Northumberland access to culture.  We will give each school an Anglo-Saxon themed museum resource box to use for a hands-on classroom session, and we will also provide transportation to one of our venues for a workshop with our expert staff

The impact of the lockdowns and Covid-19 restrictions on children’s wellbeing is a big concern. Children need to be exposed to people and experiences to help them develop all kinds of life skills whilst also keeping them mentally and physically healthy.   By supporting our Christmas appeal you will be helping children and young people who have been deprived of visiting museums and galleries to enjoy them once again.

How can you help?
